Hong Kong Contact
For anyone trying to contact me in Hong Kong this weekend, my number is 9514 8263. Of course, that requires the proper country and city codes for calling here too.The number is interesting in itself. I was loaned a phone for my weekend here in Hong Kong by one of the managers in Dongguan. It seems that no one uses a phone from the mainland in Hong Kong or vice versus. Even though Hong Kong is now part of China, the roaming charges are evidently ridiculously high between the areas.
When we got on the train in Lo Wu, all on cue, everyone immediately took out their cell phone, opened the back, and changed the SIM card from a mainland card to a Hong Kong card.
But again remember, its already 5:30 PM Saturday here, but only 5:30 AM in the U.S. Have a great weekend! Mine’s a third over.
