Typing at 35000 Feet

Did you know you can now use a laptop computer on flights across the Atlantic?  At least Lufthansa has now begun offering such a service if you have a WiFi connection.  They were even giving out 30 minutes free time to all travelers the other day for my flight to Charlotte.

So I coulda written out this posting at 35000 feet above Nova Scotia.   At least I could have,  IF I could have gotten my laptop to fit on my tray.  But how do you use a laptop when the seat in front of you is reclined into your lap?  If I had put the laptop on the tray, I would not have been able to type because the screen would have been closed down on my knuckles!  It just don’t work!
